Application Statuses
Your application will go through different statuses as the developer reviews it.
Status Types
Pending
Your application has been submitted and is waiting for the developer to review it. You'll receive an email when a decision is made. While pending, you can withdraw the application if you change your mind.
Approved
The developer has accepted your application. This means:
- A game key has been assigned to you (if keys are available in the program)
- You can reveal your key from the application details
- You're expected to create and submit content about the game
- You may have a content deadline and program requirements to follow
Rejected
The developer has declined your application. A rejection reason may be included in the notification email.
Withdrawn
You've cancelled your own pending application. This action cannot be undone.
Status Flow
Submitted → Pending → Approved
→ Rejected
Pending → Withdrawn (by you)
Email Notifications
You'll receive email notifications when:
- Your application is approved (with key information if a key was assigned)
- Your application is rejected (with an optional reason from the developer)
After Approval
Once approved, your application detail page will show:
- Your game key — Reveal and copy it
- Embargo date (if set) — Do not publish content before this date
- Content deadline (if set) — Submit your content by this date
- Content guidelines — The developer's expectations for your content
- Submit content — Submit your content through the Creator Portal
