Campaigns & Reward Codes

What are campaigns in GSHub?

Campaigns are tracked links with UTM parameters that help you measure where your landing page traffic comes from. Create different campaigns for Twitter, Reddit, newsletters, etc. to see which channels drive the most visitors.

How do reward codes work?

Reward codes let you distribute game keys to visitors. Create a reward code type, set the requirement (wishlist, email, or both), add your codes, and visitors who meet the requirement can claim a code on your landing page.

How do I add codes to distribute?

Go to your game's Reward Codes section, create or select a code type, click "Add Codes", and paste your codes one per line.

What happens when all codes are claimed?

When all codes have been claimed, visitors can join a notification waiting list. When you add more codes, you can choose to send notification emails to everyone on the waiting list.

Does GSHub verify Steam wishlists?

Yes. GSHub verifies wishlists through the Steam API. Visitors connect their Steam account and GSHub checks whether they've wishlisted your game before distributing a code.

Creator Programs

What is a Creator Program?

Creator Programs let streamers, YouTubers, and content creators apply for game keys. You set eligibility requirements (minimum subscribers, target platforms, etc.) and review applications.

How do I review creator applications?

Navigate to your game's Creator Programs section and select a program. You'll see pending applications with the creator's profile, channel links, and subscriber counts. You can approve, reject, or ignore each application.

Can creators reapply if rejected?

Yes, creators whose application was rejected or withdrawn can submit a new application to your program.

How do I track content from creators?

Approved creators submit their content (videos, streams, etc.) through the Creator Portal. You can review submissions and see performance metrics like view counts, likes, and comments.

Analytics

What metrics does GSHub track?

GSHub tracks page views, unique visitors, bounce rate, session duration, conversions (wishlist clicks, code claims, email signups), traffic sources, geographic data (by country), and device types.

What counts as a "conversion"?

A conversion is counted when a visitor completes a goal action: claiming a reward code, submitting their email, or clicking the Steam wishlist button.

How do I track traffic from specific sources?

Create campaigns in GSHub with UTM parameters. Each campaign generates a tracked URL. GSHub automatically records utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign from incoming traffic.

Can I export my data?

You can export collected email addresses as CSV from your game's email collection section.

Troubleshooting

My landing page isn't loading. What should I do?

First, try clearing your browser cache. If using a custom domain, verify your DNS settings are correct. Check our status page at https://status.gshub.io for any ongoing issues.

Codes aren't being claimed on my page.

Verify that: 1) The reward code type is enabled, 2) You have available codes in the pool, 3) The requirement settings are correct. Check the reward codes section for details.

I can't log in to my account.

Try resetting your password via the "Forgot Password" link. If you use social login (Google/Discord), ensure you're using the same provider. Contact support if issues persist.

My Steam game data isn't updating.

Steam data can be refreshed from your game settings. Go to your game and look for the refresh option to pull the latest data from Steam.

I'm not receiving email notifications.

Check your spam/junk folder first. Then verify your notification preferences in Profile > Notifications. Ensure email notifications are enabled and check your email frequency setting.

My custom domain shows a security warning.

SSL certificates can take up to 24 hours to provision after domain approval. If the warning persists, verify your CNAME record points to the correct GSHub domain.
