Campaigns & UTM Tracking
Track where your traffic comes from with campaign links
What Are Campaigns?
Campaigns in GSHub are tracked links that use UTM parameters to help you understand where your landing page traffic comes from. Each campaign generates a unique URL you can share on different platforms to measure their effectiveness.
How Campaigns Work
- You create a campaign with a name and UTM parameters
- GSHub generates a tracked URL for your landing page
- You share that URL on a specific platform (Twitter, Reddit, newsletter, etc.)
- When visitors use the link, GSHub records the source, medium, and campaign
- You can view traffic and conversion data per campaign in Analytics
UTM Parameters
Each campaign uses standard UTM parameters:

Naming Convention
Use consistent naming for UTM parameters across all campaigns. For example, always use "twitter" (not "Twitter" or "tw") for utm_source to keep your analytics clean.
Example Use Cases
Track Social Media Posts
Create separate campaigns for each platform:
- Twitter launch post - utm_source=twitter, utm_medium=social, utm_campaign=launch_day
- Reddit announcement - utm_source=reddit, utm_medium=social, utm_campaign=launch_day
- Discord announcement - utm_source=discord, utm_medium=social, utm_campaign=launch_day
Track Newsletter Links
- utm_source=newsletter, utm_medium=email, utm_campaign=march_update
Track Paid Advertising
- utm_source=google, utm_medium=cpc, utm_campaign=wishlist_drive
Campaigns vs Reward Codes
Campaigns and reward codes are separate systems in GSHub:
