Revealing Game Keys

When your application is approved and a key is available, you can reveal and redeem your game key.

Finding Your Key​

  1. Go to My Applications in the sidebar
  2. Find your approved application
  3. Click on the application to view details

Revealing the Key​

Game keys are hidden by default (displayed as ••••-••••-••••-••••) to prevent accidental exposure.

From the Applications List​

  1. Find your approved application in My Applications
  2. Click the Reveal Key button
  3. Your game key will be displayed in full

From the Application Detail Page​

  1. Click View Details on your approved application
  2. The "Your Game Key" section shows the key platform and region (if applicable)
  3. Click Reveal Key to show the key
  4. Click Copy to Clipboard to copy it

The Copy to Clipboard button is only available on the application detail page. If you need to copy the key, click through to the detail view.

Keep your game key private. Do not share it publicly or with others. Keys are tracked and linked to your creator account.

Redeeming Your Key​

Steam Keys​

  1. Open the Steam client
  2. Click Games in the top menu → Activate a Product on Steam
  3. Follow the prompts and enter your key
  4. The game will be added to your Steam library

No Key Available​

If your application is approved but no key was assigned, it means the developer's key pool was empty at the time of approval. The developer may add more keys later, or you can reach out to them through the content requirements information.

Next Steps​

After redeeming your key, play the game and create your content. Then submit your content through the Creator Portal to complete the process.
