Create professional press materials for journalists and media

What is a Presskit?

A presskit is a collection of materials that makes it easy for journalists, streamers, and content creators to cover your game. A good presskit includes all the information and assets they need in one place.

Setting Up Your Presskit

  1. Navigate to your game
  2. Click "Press Kit" in the sidebar (under the Integrations group)
  3. Enable the presskit toggle
  4. Fill in the required sections
  5. Upload your press assets

Fact Sheet

  • Developers
  • Publishers
  • Release Date
  • Release Status
  • Platforms
  • Price
  • Genre and Sub-genres
  • Player Modes
  • Languages
  • Age Rating
  • Engine
  • Website URL

Press Assets

Upload these assets for journalists to download:

  • Screenshots - High-res screenshots (1920x1080 minimum)
  • Key Art - Main promotional artwork
  • Logos - Various formats and backgrounds
  • Icons - App icons and favicons
  • Banners - Promotional banners
  • Other - Miscellaneous press assets

Videos (including trailers) are managed in a separate Videos section within the Press Kit.

Include logos on both light and dark backgrounds. PNG format with transparency is ideal.

  • Press Contact - Contact email for press inquiries
  • Streaming Policy - Guidelines for content creators
  • Awards & Recognition - Festival wins, nominations
  • Press Quotes - Reviews and coverage
  • Press Releases - Announcements and news
  • Requests - Manage press and media requests

Streaming Policy

Configure your streaming policy to let content creators know what's allowed:

  • Allow Let's Play Videos - Can creators stream or record gameplay?
  • Allow Monetization - Can they monetize videos and streams?
  • Restrictions - Any content restrictions
  • Additional Notes - Extra information for creators (spoilers, music licensing, etc.)

Include this link in press emails, your Steam page, and anywhere journalists might look for information.
